Kanisha Tiedeman
Welcome – I’m Kanisha, the heart and hands behind Quyanaa Heritage. This space is a reflection of my life’s journey, rooted in reviving, healing, and honoring the paths walked by those before me.
I am a proud member of the Native Village of Eyak and Tribal leader, an artist, and a co-creator of Quyanaa Sisters – a healing space born from the desire to reconnect with nature and community. My work intertwines ancestral knowledge, cultural practices, and the wisdom of the land to help others rediscover their voice and step into their own transformation.
What Guides Me
I believe in the power of nature, the rhythm of seasons, and the stories held in our bodies. My journey as an ancestral skin marker, Neijing Nature-Based Medicine practitioner, and holistic birth worker has taught me that healing often lies in remembering – remembering who we are, where we come from, and how deeply we are connected to the world around us.
Through Quyanaa Heritage, I aim to create offerings that reflect this belief – blending ancient traditions with modern insight to create pathways for growth, healing, and community connection.
Quyanaa Heritage’s Mission
To empower others to embrace their stories, find healing in nature’s cycles, and cultivate a life that honors the heart, the land, and the lineage we carry. Quyanaa Heritage is more than a project – it’s a calling to weave together transformation, gratitude, and the enduring spirit of heritage.
Thank you for being here.
Together, we can create something beautiful, something rooted in the essence of who we are.
With love and quyanaa,
Kanisha
